Iranian Privatization Organization

The Minster of Economic Affairs and Finance stated that entrance of new companies into the stock market should be facilitated and the possibility of supplying government and bank properties in the capital markets should be provided.

Presidentof Iranian Privatization Organization stated that privatization leads to transparency in financial statements and companies reportssince assets and debts of the company should be accurately and exactly determined to set the price for transferring the company.

A block of Iran Transfo stocks, comprising 13.36 percent of its shares, will be listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange at an initial price of 6249 rials a share. The 13.36 percent block includes 501,152,611 shares, worth more 3131billion rials. The block trading will be conducted by the Iran Privatization Company.

Expanding of agricultural, banking and railway cooperationwas explored in the meeting of Iran Minister of Economic Affairs and Financewith the Governor of Azerbaijan Central Bank and Head of Azerbaijan Railway Company.
