According to the Public Relations Department of the Privatization Organization, in an interview with the reporter of KhaneMellat News Agency about the privatization of Perspolis and EsteghlalSoccer Clubs,Soltanifar stated that meetings related to this issue are continuously being held and it is our duty to assign Perspolis and EsteghlalSoccer Clubsto the private sector no matter what this year. We are in charge of enforcing the law in any possible way and assigning Perspolis and Esteghlal to the private sector.

The Minister of Sports and Youth added that according to the law, the pricing and entering the over-the-counter market processes will be conducted in September, then the Privatization Organization is in charge of the privatization process not the Ministry of Sport.

He explained about trading this two clubs in over-the-counter market and stated that we believe executing the acts of the parliament for privatization is slightly tough, so we ask the members of the parliament to reform these acts in order to accelerate the privatization process of these two clubs.

The Minister of Sports and Youthcontinued that the Members of the Parliament will trace the modification of this act in order to simplify and accelerate the process of privatization.
