According to public relations liaison of Iran, Dr. ZohreAalipour added “Article 44 of constitution, accurately divides economy to 3 sections; public, co-operative and private sector.

Some limit privatization to ownershiptransfer of assets and companies. Yet, some define privatization as main indicator of economic activity and emphasize importance of free price mechanism. “

She also added “Real private sector must be introduced as the main player in economy and there needs to be a certain definition and placement of private sector.”
