Privatization of Perspolis and Esteghlal Clubs in a Non-Tender Method

Stating that recently, the third and forth tender of Perspolis and Esteghlal Clubs have been held which had many applicants with no adequate competence, Jafar Sobhani said: “In privatization of the state-owned firms, the basis is higher price, but in Perspolis and Esteghlal Clubs tender, competency has priority over the price.” He added: “Because privatization of Perspolis and Esteghlal Clubs has much social consequences, so we consider competency and the competent people must not have any debt to banks and also any security affairs.”
About the offered prices for Perspolis and Esteghlal Clubs, the top adviser of IPO said: “Although the forth tender had increasing in the price, it had no winner.”
