Iranian Privatization Organization (IPO) advisor announced about the implementation of obligatory actions to hold the tender and divest 200 state firms to the private sector, till the end of Iranian this year.
“Divesting of 200 state firms is in agenda. These companies are categorized into different groups such as Petrochemical, Agricultural, basic metals industries, machine building industry, oil and gas industries, Construction Industries, electricity and clothing industries.”, said Seyyed Jafar Sobhani.
IPO advisor declared: “Since the beginning of IPO so far, 1,111 companies have been on the list of divesting, within the framework of Principle 44 or out of it.”
