One of the officials of Foreign Investment Organization announced that some meetings held in the presence of Ministries of Justice and Labor and Companies Registration Office to solve the problems of foreign investment. He stated: “henceforth foreign investors may register a company directly with the Registrar of Companies, and obtain any license.”

According to Mehr News Agency, in restoration ceremony of Foreign Investment Service Center, Saman Ghasemi told the reporters: “Foreign Investment Organization as the Trustee of foreign investment attraction in the country is faced with the visitors always. This center is introduced as the service center to the foreign investors. Therefore, the organizational representatives who will facilitate the flow of foreign investment take up the position in the center.”

General Manager of Foreign Investment Office of Organization for Investment, Economic and technical Assistance of Iran, referring to the physical presence of 11 organizations representatives to present in this center said: “in this case, the investors may propound their subjects to the various organizational representatives and obtain the required documents from them.”

He said that the facilitation of foreign investment process in the country and improvement of business rank are some of the goals of this center and stated: “The representatives of the organizations setting in this center have some responsibilities. One of them is answering the questions of investors and visitors or their attorneys.”

Mr. Ghasemi added: “The other task of them is pursuing the problems related to the previous projects which may have some problems in these organizations.” He iterated: “we request the representatives which put this case as their main priority.”

He announced of reviewing and reforming the problems related to the foreign investors with the relevant organizations and mentioned: “besides, we provide the encouragement opportunities for Investors too. For instance we take the catalogs of obtaining the employment permits from Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Also to catch the visa, Foreign Affairs Ministry, Banking Facilities of Central Bank representative and other organizations will assist.”

General Manager of Foreign Investment Office of Organization for Investment, Economic and technical Assistance of Iran, referring that these catalogs are translated in different languages and those are available for foreign investors.” He continued: “in all provinces, Foreign Investment Services Center with a different nature has been launched. The difference is that there are no offices in the provinces any more.”

He mentioned access opportunities, introduction of projects, Negotiation with investors, providing the encouragement opportunities and introducing the investors as their main priority in the center of Tehran and other provinces.

About the problems of foreign investors on catching the license from Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Mr. Ghasemi stated: “There aren’t any problems on this matter. According to the recent actions, some meetings are held with the Companies Registration Office and Labor Ministry through the Minister of Justice. During these meetings, after reviewing the State laws and regulations, we realized that foreign investors may register a company directly with the Registrar of Companies, and obtain any license.” He continued: “Based on this decision, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs may issue the license for all Iranian companies which have foreign shareholders. It means that this problem of Labor Ministry is solved throughout the country and is notified to all provinces.”
