"Every single day that the privatization of the two great clubs of our country is accomplished earlier, that would be more welcomed by both the Ministry of Sports and the state."  The Minister of Sports and Youths Emphasized.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Privatization Organization, In an interview with the News Agency of … Masoud Soltanifar said that: " I officially declare that both the state and … believe that the two clubs of Perspolis and Estaghlal should be assigned to the private sector quicker and every single day it takes place, that would be more welcomed by us. We insist on it due to the international requirements as well as this fact that we believe that private clubs may take better development procedure."

"Esteghlal and Persoplis are the back bone of the national football and by privatization they would surely carry out more fundamental works in terms of basic training of their teams." He added.

"Comparing to the past two years and a half that I took the responsibility of the state sports, now these two teams are in a much better situation." Minister said. "The concept of financial resources for them without any independency to the state budget has been well arranged. Likewise, regarding the tax, we have had a variety of meetings with the tax organization and adequate clarification has been made and it would solve a significant part of their difficulties."

"It has been required a special committee to be established consisting of a number of the parliament members, the sports deputy of …, the directors of …., the representatives of Over the Counter Exchange Organization, Computations Tribunal as well the Parliament's Research Center, in order to follow up the privatization of these two football clubs by constantly holding meetings twice a week, hopefully to have such privatization carried out in year 2019." Soltanifar said.

It should be noted that the Privatization Organization will be in charge of running the committee and also act as the task force.
