Deputy of the Ministry of Sport and Youth asserted that ownership status of the two football clubs must be resolved and these two clubs must always be in good shape.

Public relations liaison of Iran Privatization Organization (IPO) reported  on the latest amendments made for privatization ofPerspolis and Esteghlal FCsMohammadrezaDavarzanistated “Iran Privatization Organization is in charge. The Ministry of Sport and Youth has received the act of state. Privatization Organization is also considering processes and methods of divestiture in order to finalize the privatization of the two FCs.

MohammadrezaDavarzani mentioned; “without a doubt, we in the Ministry of Sport and Youth have great enthusiasm for divesting these two clubs.”

Deputy of the Ministry of Sport and Youth about choosing CEO for the Esteghlal and Perspolis Football club pointed “Naturally these two clubs cannot be left without proper management. As long as state is in charge, Ministry of Sport will decide on this subject. These two clubs have had magnificent performance in the past two years and their schedules should not be affected. These two football clubs must be in good shape until the time of divestiture. After divestiture every decision will be made in the new board of directors. “
