In an interview with Fars economic reporter “Tavana”, Ali Divandari called principle 44 as an economic revolution in the country and stated: “The effects of this revolution is not specified in the short term but for showing the positive points of the above-mentioned project, the medium-term performance is needed.

In continue, Managing Director of Mellat Bank referred to Successful divesting the shares of this bank and restated: In 1387 (2008-2009) not only Mellat bank predicted EPS  has been reached but also in the first year of the privatization, 19% positive improvement has been done, too.

He stated: In the first sixth months of this year, among 247 Rials of Mellat bank considered EPS, 132 Rials have been achieved; which indicates a 53% covered and success.

Divandari hopes that all EPS of Mellat bank would be done by the end of this year.

Managing Director of Mellat Bank stating that in the very short time (less than the next month) 4% of the remained state shares in Mellat bank will be divested, clarified that: “Commission of Divestiture is the last decision-maker for the rest 4% and also this Commission will determine the way of this divesting which is going to be in block or small.

Emphasizing that Mellat bank activities have been extremely increased after privatization, he mentioned: “increasing the capacities, abilities, training of the human resources and increasing staff skills through the marketing and taking more shares, are some activities which have been conducted in this bank.”
