At the 92nd session of the Government-Private Sector Dialogue Council held this morning at the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines of Iran with the presence of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance and the Minister of Industry, Mining and Commerce as well as members of the chamber, the Minister of Economy said that one of today's concerns is the growth of investment in the country, which we must address with the support of the public and private sectors.

SHADA: TEHRAN - Given the good role played by the private sector in the country's export and import sectors, it can help to foster investment and boost production in the country by attracting more funding from foreign financial institutions, Farhad Dejpasand stressed.

The martyrdom of Major General Haj Qasem Soleimani and the magnificent attendance of millions of people at the funeral of this noble martyr in Iraqi cities and our country showed that people can reach the highest degree of popularity in the society with dedication and sincerity and without any material cost, he said.

He further stated that in the field of economy as well, the people who selflessly and sincerely do good and efficient activities to improve production and the conditions of economic activity in the country will certainly receive the attention, support and appreciation of the people.

The assassination of martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani, who was a guest of another country, showed that the US government is promoting the financing of terrorism around the world through its budgetary resources, he said.

During the last year, we have had strong and good approvals in the Deregulation Board, some of which have been announced directly for implementation and some have been submitted to the Government for approval, the Minister of Economy added.

Dejpasand noted that a comprehensive report on the elimination of redundant rules should be presented at the next session of the Dialogue Council, and said: The Chamber of Commerce can help us to abolish redundant regulations so that we can take effective steps in this direction.

According to the report, the resolution of 'modifying the general conditions of the deal and applying the opinions of the private sector in the draft prepared by the Planning and Budget Organization' proposed in the 81st session of the Government and Private Sector Dialogue Council, dated December 31, 2018, was examined in the session.
