For the first time; Tehran Stock Exchange became the chairman of working committee of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS).
For the first time; Tehran Stock Exchange became the chairman of working committee of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS).
According to Fars News Agency, the public relations of Tehran Stock Exchange Quotes that Abolfazl Shahrabadi, Public Relations & International Department Director of Tehran Stock Exchange stated: “according to ending the two-year term of Jordan Stock Exchange presidency, an election held to select new head for a two-year term. Tehran Stock Exchange is elected as the head of working committee.”
He added: “The working committee is the most important part of the Federation operational sector which several working groups are working under it, on the main issues of Asian and European Stock Exchange.”
Mr. Shahrabadi stated that the meeting of working committee is held in the presence of most members of the Federation in Istanbul and he emphasized: “During the 15-year life of the Federation, Tehran Stock Exchange was the vice president of it but now it is elected as the head of working committee which has a particular importance.”
He added: “In this meeting, each Stock Exchange reported its status including events, executive programs and new experiences, statistics and information on the rate of trading and initial supplies of the Stock Exchange and also its problems.
Mr. Shahrabadi said: “During the meeting, different working groups reported on different and related issues such as making transaction contacts among the Stock Exchanges which are members of FEAS, development of activities related to marketing, education and media, transactional and judgment laws related matters and environmental issues of the Stock Exchanges.”
At the end of the meeting of working committee, Tehran Stock Exchange presented a comprehensive report of its experiences on preparing a Five-year Strategic Plan which was unprecedented so far among the other Stock Exchange member of FEAS that is taken into consideration of the participants.
